The Auckland JazzFest continues to provide jazz aficionados with the opportunity to sample local and international talent. In addition to three nights of top calibre performances, Auckland JazzFest 09 will also offer a series of free workshops.
Ron Samsom, head of Jazz Studies at The University of Auckland's School of Music says "Our annual JazzFest has become a great yearly focal point among students and staff at the School of Music, and among the Auckland jazz community at large. It has established a large following and a strong reputation for jazz presented in a concert format”.
