One of the earliest of British blues bands, Savoy Brown, with founder guitarist Kim Simmonds at the helm, helped launch the 1967 UK blues boom movement that brought blues music back to the USA invigorating the style forever. In the process, the band became part of the framework that launched the rock and roll music of the 1970’s. Their influence now stretches into modern rock as we know it today.
With over 30 albums to their name, Savoy Brown continue to delight with the release of "Voodoo Moon" and are worthy additions to ROR Artist Of The Month!

The hugely talented Ryan Adams, whose musical career has covered Alt Country, Americana, Classic Rock, Alternative genres of music, has returned with his new album Ashes And Fire, which is more of a stripped back, country influenced album. Whilst many of his previous albums can contain a combination of sheer brilliance and some mediocrity, all are well worth the effort of getting to know. On Ashes And Fire, Adams has created a wonderful set of songs and seems at last very comfortable in his own skin. ROR RECOMMENDS!

From the outset, PJ Harvey has commanded attention.
