Mim Grey, the sultry new voice to come out of the UK. The album evokes the sounds of James Taylor and Joni Mitchell, while ccconjuring up a life lived through high-heeled boots, blue jeans, curling tongs, late nights and loves lost and found. After being “discovered” at London’s 606 Club, Mim was whisked off to LA to work with world renowned producer Derek Bramble and some of LA's finest session musicians. The album was engineered by Grammy-nominated Rob Chiarelli and mastered to perfection by Grammy-winning Gavin Lurssen, of Robert Plant & Alison Krauss fame. Lyricist Cori Josias adds to the maturity and emotional depth of the twelve beautifully recorded songs on Grey Matters, and their unique chemistry has produced truly timeless melodies and lyrics. |
This is an excellent album from Australian Mike Noga who also happens to drum for The Drones....this is Folk/Rock/Alternative worth checking out.

Easy lyrics, melodic catchy tunes makes for a highly listenable album from talented Australian duo. |

In the Springtime is organic, original, inspired by folk-Americana songstress Gini Woolfolk, and masterfully realized through the creative efforts of co-producer John Phillips and engineer Brian Mallard at Luminous Studio in Columbus, GA. In addition to guitar, bass, and a variety of percussion, track instrumentation is comprised of mandolin, mandola, fiddle, dobro, banjo, and accordian. Gini's songs cover topics all can relate to, including love, loss, anger, acceptance, hopefulness, and peace.
